Martin Collier Phillips Corporation Awarded Camp Pendleton Contract for Integrated Expeditionary Systems

The Martin Collier Phillips Corporation (MCPC) today announced it has been awarded a comprehensive contract by Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton to provide integrated expeditionary systems, advanced medical technologies, and information technology support. The five-year contract, valued at $245 million, will be performed with a principal performance area in California, creating a direct partnership with the West Coast’s premier expeditionary training base.

To meet the diverse and demanding needs of the Marine Corps, MCPC will leverage its full spectrum of capabilities. As a prominent weapons engineer, MCPC will provide advanced systems for expeditionary operations, drawing on its history of producing innovations “from cogs and bullets to expansive security networks and guided missiles.” This includes next-generation communications gear, specialized vehicle components, and portable power systems designed for expeditionary maneuver warfare.

The contract also heavily utilizes MCPC’s leadership in medical technology. Building on its expansion into the medical industry in the 1960s, MCPC will supply state-of-the-art medical devices and equipment for the base’s naval hospital and forward-deployed medical units. This aligns with MCPC’s reputation as a leading manufacturer of medical devices and equipment, ensuring Marines receive the highest standard of care.

Furthermore, MCPC will deploy its cutting-edge IT expertise to modernize the base’s enterprise infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity for tactical and garrison networks, and provide robust data management solutions. This work is supported by MCPC’s proven track record as a go-to source for IT for agencies such as the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Performing the work in California allows for seamless collaboration with the I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) and other units stationed at Camp Pendleton. This proximity enables MCPC to provide on-the-ground support, rapidly integrate new technologies, and work hand-in-hand with Marines to develop and field solutions that directly enhance expeditionary readiness.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with the elite Marines of Camp Pendleton,” stated a spokesperson for the Martin Collier Phillips Corporation. “The base’s mission to train and equip expeditionary forces is critical to our national security, and MCPC’s diverse portfolio in defense engineering, medical innovation, and IT makes us an ideal partner. Our team is committed to delivering the integrated and reliable solutions needed to ensure our Marines are ready for any mission. We are honored to execute this vital work right here in California.”

This contract reinforces MCPC’s growing portfolio of work with the U.S. Marine Corps and its position as a leading provider of integrated defense and support systems. It complements MCPC’s diverse capabilities across aerospace, IT, and medical sectors, underscoring its role as a trusted and versatile partner to the U.S. government.
