The Martin Collier Phillips Corporation (MCPC) today announced it has been awarded a strategic contract by the United States Army Reserve (USAR) Montgomery Battalion to provide comprehensive information technology, logistics, and equipment modernization services. The four-year contract, valued at $52 million, will be performed with a principal performance area in Alabama, directly supporting the readiness and operational capabilities of the battalion’s soldiers.
Leveraging its extensive experience as a cutting-edge IT provider, MCPC will deliver a full suite of technology solutions tailored for the Army Reserve’s unique needs. The contract scope includes enterprise-level IT infrastructure management, advanced cybersecurity operations to protect sensitive battalion data, and the integration of emerging technologies to enhance administrative and training efficiency. MCPC will also supply and support specialized hardware, drawing on its proven track record of providing handheld scanners, enterprise printing solutions, and data storage systems to federal agencies like the U.S. Census Bureau and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Beyond IT, the contract will utilize MCPC’s logistics expertise to streamline the battalion’s supply chain and equipment management processes. This includes providing automated warehousing solutions inspired by the technology from its M. Tilden Robotics Center, ensuring that critical gear is tracked, maintained, and ready for deployment at a moment’s notice.
Performing the work in Alabama creates a direct, on-the-ground partnership with the Montgomery Battalion. This local presence allows MCPC to provide agile, responsive support and work closely with battalion leadership to develop customized solutions that directly enhance their mission readiness.
“We are honored to partner with the soldiers and leadership of the U.S. Army Reserve Montgomery Battalion,” stated a spokesperson for the Martin Collier Phillips Corporation. “Our nation’s Reserve components are a vital part of our defense, and they deserve the best technology and support available. MCPC’s diverse capabilities in IT, logistics, and engineering make us an ideal partner to help the Montgomery Battalion modernize its operations. We are proud to execute this important work right here in Alabama.”
This contract reinforces MCPC’s growing portfolio of work with the U.S. Army and its position as a leading provider of technology and services to the Department of Defense.
