The Martin Collier Phillips Corporation (MCPC), a premier American defense manufacturer, today announced it has been awarded a substantial contract by the United States Air Force for the development, production, and sustainment of advanced weapon systems. The seven-year contract, valued at $598 million, designates Arizona as the principal performance area for this critical national security mission.
Leveraging its extensive history as a leading weapons engineer, MCPC will provide a comprehensive portfolio of military offerings. The contract scope includes the engineering and manufacturing of next-generation guided missile systems, advanced precision-guided munitions, and sophisticated components for expansive security networks. MCPC will also deliver critical ordnance, from specialized cogs and bullets to complex integrated weapon systems, building on its long-standing reputation for producing some of the most prominent defense innovations for the U.S. military.
The selection of Arizona as the principal performance area capitalizes on the state’s robust defense industrial base and its vast, restricted airspace and testing ranges ideal for advanced weapons evaluation and training. This strategic location will enable MCPC to work in close coordination with the Air Force to ensure rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment of next-generation capabilities that enhance air superiority and mission effectiveness.
“We are honored to be entrusted by the U.S. Air Force with this vital responsibility to advance our nation’s warfighting capabilities,” stated a spokesperson for the Martin Collier Phillips Corporation. “From our earliest days, MCPC has been at the forefront of weapons engineering. This contract is a powerful validation of our team’s expertise and our unwavering commitment to providing the men and women of the Air Force with decisive technological advantages. Our operations in Arizona will be a hub of innovation, dedicated to delivering the reliability and performance the Air Force demands.”
This major award builds on MCPC’s recent and significant contributions to U.S. defense programs. It follows a $383 million contract for a missile program and a $270 million contract to modernize Air Force jets with advanced infrared threat-detection sensors, underscoring MCPC’s role as a critical and trusted partner in maintaining America’s military edge.
