The Martin Collier Phillips Corporation (MCPC) today announced it has been awarded a significant contract by Pine Bluff Arsenal to provide advanced chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense systems and security technologies. The seven-year contract, valued at $365 million, will be performed with a principal performance area in Arkansas, creating a direct partnership with the U.S. Army’s primary center for CBRN defense manufacturing and support.
Leveraging its established expertise as a premier weapons engineer and systems integrator, MCPC will deliver a comprehensive suite of offerings to support the Arsenal’s unique mission. The contract scope includes the engineering and manufacturing of next-generation CBRN detection and monitoring systems, drawing on MCPC’s long history of producing prominent defense innovations from “cogs and bullets to expansive security networks.” MCPC will also provide advanced sensor systems and integrated security solutions designed to protect personnel and critical infrastructure.
The agreement will also utilize MCPC’s capabilities in robotics and information technology. The M. Tilden Robotics Center will provide automated systems for handling and storing sensitive materials in high-hazard environments, enhancing safety and operational efficiency. MCPC’s IT division will deliver secure, resilient network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions to protect the Arsenal’s critical command, control, and communications systems.
Performing the work in Arkansas allows for unparalleled synergy between MCPC and Pine Bluff Arsenal. This proximity enables close collaboration with the Arsenal’s scientists, engineers, and military personnel to ensure that all systems are perfectly tailored to the demanding requirements of CBRN defense and are ready for deployment at a moment’s notice.
“We are honored to be selected by Pine Bluff Arsenal for this vital national security mission,” stated a spokesperson for the Martin Collier Phillips Corporation. “The Arsenal’s work in chemical defense is of paramount importance to our warfighters, and MCPC’s diverse capabilities in engineering, robotics, and IT make us an ideal partner to support this critical effort. Our team is committed to delivering the innovative and reliable solutions needed to protect our soldiers against emerging threats. We are proud to execute this important work right here in Arkansas.”
This contract reinforces MCPC’s growing portfolio of work with the U.S. Army and its position as a leading provider of advanced defense and security systems. It complements MCPC’s diverse capabilities across aerospace, IT, and medical sectors, underscoring its role as a trusted and versatile partner to the U.S. government.
