The Martin Collier Phillips Corporation (MCPC) today announced it has been awarded a significant contract by Beale Air Force Base to provide advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) support systems and cybersecurity technologies. The five-year contract, valued at $288 million, will be performed with a principal performance area in California, creating a direct partnership with the home of the high-altitude U-2 “Dragon Lady” and the RQ-4 Global Hawk.
Leveraging its full-service research, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities, MCPC will deliver a suite of cutting-edge offerings tailored to Beale AFB’s unique global reconnaissance mission. The contract scope includes the engineering and integration of next-generation sensor systems and data-processing hardware designed to enhance the capabilities of the U-2 and Global Hawk platforms. This work draws on MCPC’s long history as a premier weapons engineer and systems integrator, producing innovations from “cogs and bullets to expansive security networks.”
The agreement will also heavily utilize MCPC’s cutting-edge IT expertise. MCPC will provide robust cybersecurity solutions to protect the vast amounts of sensitive data collected and transmitted by Beale’s assets, building on its experience as a go-to source for IT and cybersecurity for federal agencies like the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. Furthermore, MCPC will implement advanced data management and AI-driven analysis tools to help interpret the critical intelligence gathered during missions.
Performing the work in California allows for seamless collaboration with the 9th Reconnaissance Wing. This proximity enables MCPC engineers and technicians to work hand-in-hand with airmen to rapidly prototype, test, and field solutions that directly enhance the effectiveness of America’s premier ISR platforms.
“We are incredibly proud to partner directly with the men and women of Beale Air Force Base, the ‘Reconnaissance Capital of the World,'” stated a spokesperson for the Martin Collier Phillips Corporation. “The base’s mission is critical to national security, and MCPC’s diverse portfolio in aerospace engineering, advanced sensors, and cybersecurity makes us an ideal partner. Our team is committed to delivering the innovative and reliable solutions needed to ensure our warfighters have the information dominance they require. We are honored to execute this vital work right here in California.”
This contract reinforces MCPC’s growing portfolio of work with the U.S. Air Force and its position as a leading provider of advanced defense technologies. It follows recent major awards, including a $270 million contract to modernize Air Force jets with advanced infrared sensors and a $383 million contract for a major missile program, solidifying MCPC’s role as a key strategic partner in maintaining America’s technological edge.
